DIGITAL LEASH.

Hey!

Hope, you're doing fine! Here's a small doodle from my first lesson in "How To Fuck Up Digital". Just kidding, I was too lazy to scan a drawing so I made this Anakin-In-Return-Of-The-Jedi-Lookalike in my machine of virtual creation. The title's by the infamous BRONX (can't find a good version, so sing along with this).

Good night, Robert

SATELLITE NUMBER EIGHT.

Hello Folks,

hope you had a good week! Finally, we can hope for nuclear overkill (again). Thank you, dumb world. But, there's no reason to be unhappy. Here's a nice and positive picture about the Apocalypse, that's dealing with all these nuclear tests by countries that are really strong and foward-looking. When I was younger I was drawing atomic clouds on any exercise sheet in math. I even made a picture for my drawing buddy Matthew where you can see Mulder and Scully (X-Files) standing in front of the White House which's getting bombed by a nuke. Very funny! If I can dig it out somewhere, I'll make a post, haha! Ah, got it, it's from 1998! See below!

The drawing was a quickie by about 15 minutes. The coloring took some time,  cuz I wanted to display 1000 shades of violet (my favorite atomic color). The title's by NOISE BY NUMBERS.

Cheers, Robert

BLEEDER.

Ah!

Welcome for another time! I played a little with digital lights and colors and here is what came out. Reminds me of GOZER somehow. This time, I used a few colors and a straight lighting on a relative clean drawing to create a subtle horror mood.
The title's by the great ALKALINE TRIO (there's a brilliant cover of HWM/Chuck Ragan, too).

Cheers, Robert

DO YOU WANT TO BE LOVED.

Yo,

next one. Same story as below. Here I did the coloring with ink and water color. The lyrics are stolen from Jared Leto in "Panic Room" (couldn't find the scene here) and the title's from SAMIAM.

Cheers, Robert

THANKS BRO.

Yeah,

I love holidays! There's enough time to get all the thing done that cover my desk. So, here's a picture I did whilst a rehearsal, I was half-bored (we had to wait for our drummer). Yesterday I colored the shit and voilà. Happiness overload!

Ah, the title's stolen by FILTER.

THE.SPINES - SHIRT DESIGN.

Hey!

Here I am again. For my band I created a new shirt design. I struggled a long time with the style, tried some different kind of visualization and motifs, but most of them sucked. Maybe at the end of the year I make a "Worst Of"-Online Show so you can laugh a little.

Cheers, Robert

WAVES OF SECOND GUESSING.

Hey you,

here you get another shitty doodle out my twisted head. I simply don't know what it is... had some song in my head but forgot what it was. Now this image carries the title of that fantastic song by KINSKI. Pretty good song even it's not comparable to the woozy and choleric character of actor Klaus Kinski. Check it out (here or there), he's unbelievable! Um, well... this time I used my "traditional" style and tried to catch the teeth in are more realistic way than I did last year. I left out the backlight of the last months and chose some beautiful ice-cream colors. Maybe this will be my green period...

Cheers, Robert

RISE UP DIRTY WATERS.

Hey!

It's been a long time since my last post. Had lot of not-drawing-work to do (some "Uaargh!-Shit" and and the editing of the video for my band ). But (unfortunately) I'm alive and come around with a new thing. I made clear lines this time with some snotty coloring. The lyrics are inspired by the great Frank Turner while the title's a song from the recent TOMAHAWK record. Hope to get some more time for drawing the next months!

Cheers you bastards! Robert

UP FROM THE FLOOR.

Happy New Year, Freaks!
Christmas is over and you're fat again? Maybe, this will not be your year, haha! But, let's go on with some drawing stuff. Here's one new which's drawn around New Year's Eve. It reminds me a little of an accidental mixture between Kim Possible and Uma Thurman's "Kill Bill"-Suit. The title's from Chicago's THE BOMB and will hopefully kick my ass, this year!

Cheers, Robert
